THE WORKSHOP
Pottery community workshops in a setting of joy and collaboration.
Plan a community workshop in your school, office, community, home, park or any other approved location. The focus of the community workshop is creativity via clay hand building.
The details of the community workshops are as follows:
Maximum group size: 25 persons
Minimum group size: 5 persons
Standard Duration of workshop per visit: 2 hours
Minimum age: 8 years old (could be younger depending on group size)
Cost per person: $60.00 + TPS/TVQ
Materials included: 1 to 2 pounds of white stoneware clay (to keep) plus required hand-building tools (borrowed).
Possible required materials: Depending on type of project, you may need to bring a rolling pin, plastic containers, kitchen utensils, a small towel, etc.
Possible additional Costs:

Travel: No travel cost to participants if site is located within 20km of Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier, QC. Any locations beyond 20km would be at a rate of $0.55/km + $30.00/hour travel time + possible hotel costs if located further than a 2-hour drive.

Firing and Glazing (one colour): Option to have your creations fired and glazed: 1 bisque-firing and 1 glaze-firing as an after service. Firing and glazing cost will range between $5.00 and $10.00per piece plus postage between $10.00 to $20.00 (within Canada) per client. Option to include a gift card with a message if you would like to send your creation elsewhere as a gift (add $5.00).
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT NOTES:

Any groups with persons younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by adults. Please ensure there is one adult present for every 10 children under 18 years old.

Any child behavioural issues must be managed by the additional adults present. Any persistent, unmanaged impolite and/or disruptive behaviour from clients of any age will not be tolerated. The disruptive participant will be asked to leave the workshop without refund.
